e/stutter step

Stutter Step is work for unaccompanied euphonium and was commissioned by Patrick Geren. The work was influenced by the music of Argentine composer, Astor Piazzolla, who revolutionized tango music in the 20th century. Written as a musical depiction of two dancers, the work alternates between expressive, free-flowing passages and energetic, driving rhythms.
Performed in Colorado as a solo euphonium performance.
